I stopped playing the Sims when it ocurred to me that my Sims had better social lives than me.

Which probably accounts for the game's huge popularity. Don't have a life, live vicariously through your sims!

Disclaimer: Not to say that everyone who plays needs to get a life. It's a fantastic, interesting, and fun game.
