Owens was and is a big let down for me- but really things are the same as they ever were. We had Lamm, then Webb (Gov's I remember anyway- before that I have no idea)....I thought Owens would be different, I was wrong...now we have Ritter. More power to him.

I'm really ok with tonight- not happy- but ok. I hope for good things- I want to believe good things, even about Dems. We'll see how the next two years shape up....

I am most interested in who emerges for the Presidential race- a race with no incumbent. I think it is going to be fascinating.

Waited in line for about 45 minutes to vote this evening. Actually voted after the polls were closed.

Yes, that is a nail biter. Results still to come from Newport News area, Richmond and upstate from what I heard last.

Watch for McCaskill in MO. Only 65% of the vote reported, but most of the remainder expected to vote D.

52% of my fellow Lakewood residents apparently have voted to ban safe and sane fireworks because some mouthbreathing idiot blew his house up with illegal fireworks. Thanks for ruining my 4th of July, a**wipes!
