I think I found a name for my next computer project, but I won't know for sure until I get the parts...

I'm gonna be taking a side job doing computer setups for people to raise funds for my new beast

So our DSL went down, it may be the line, it may be our modem, but considering the holiday weekend it may be awhile till Lisa and I can get regular access. Thankfully, my cell phone can be used as a modem. Unfortunately it's only slightly better than dial-up speeds. So it goes...

wow. it's only been a short time since "the wedding"...but, feels more like an entire year has just sped by since i have been around these parts.

i miss you all a LoT.

i have completed my first of many "major" projects, and must have done well because it was announced last week that i will lead the next as well, to the dismay of some colleagues with much tenure.

i begin again, with an even larger project (but same amount of time to complete it) on monday. rain or shine!

i have 7 unopened paychecks and stacks of unread mail.

dozens of messages on the machine and unanswered emails.

virtually nothing in the fridge.

house is clean (hardly been here to mess it up).

brought my dog home for the holiday weekend to visit with her for the first time in several weeks.

it will be a busy week ahead and an even busier month.

but, for now, it's the LoT, leftovers, sweatpants, sofa, football and my dog.

am i in Heaven?

Jessica (One of the finalists on Australian Idol) just sung "When you believe" from Prince Of Egypt for the final show and I'm all verklempt !!!

I hope she wins.

It's snowing outside. A lot. I was supposed to go shopping today, but I think I'll leave driving for the amateurs today. First major snowfall always weeds out the weak.
