Because I hadn't chosen to add any actual FF extentions I hadn't thought to check there: d'oh! I DO have the Yahoo toolbar (I think I opted for that when I was messing around with my SBC account) -- and lo: there is "tab mix plus" right underneath. So, maybe I got it with the toolbar...or maybe it was just bundled with my initial DL of FF and I didn't notice. Either way I consider the mystery (for my browser at least) solved! Thanks Alex: color yourself correct!
