I aspire to stay alive. Beyond that, I'm too tired to care at the moment.
I hope that the opening moments of the new year find me drunk!

I hope to organize all my photos and memorabilia that has filled at least 6 shoeboxes over the past 3 years. Maybe create scrapbooks or digital albums for all of my trips, social events and whatnot. Travel, don't know the latest destination. Will be hard to top 2006: Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Vegas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky (and all states in between), Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Phew, most of that was just from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Keep in better contact with my friends, brothers and godchildren. Game night! Movie night! Whatever night! Try to have more social, hang out time with the people I enjoy to socialize and hang out with. Drop the "Debbie Downer" ![]() ![]() Cook more homemade meals for my sweetie! Maybe even branch out to friends with dinner parties, but let's start small. ![]() Read a LoT more! |

I hadn't really thought about it.
I think I've been a 'downer' a lot and will work on that. Appreciate my time more. {quiet wasting so much time on those Suduko puzzles...they really take a lot of time at my skill level}. Appreciate my peoples more. Work is limiting our time off thus limiting long trip plans. Quite depressing to us. I am going to work on not just talking about weekend getaways but getting away. Getting back on my workout routine and making the kids do it with me. Everyone has lost weight but now we need to be healthy and strong. Help direct the kids more into the direction they 'want' to go. Clean out my closets & garage. Really big job there.

Well, I apparently posted no resolutions last year so in that regard, I've kept to all of them.
![]() Actually, my resolution was simply to get busier gig-wise. For the last six months or so, I've been averaging 15 gigs a month and it has been great, even though I grumble on occasion, due to lack of sleep. This year my resolution is to write a lot more and try to get closer to my goal, which is to support myself by writing during the day and playing music at night. I don't know that I will acheive it this year but I would happy just to get a few steps closer. |

2006 did all right by me. I met a cute girl who isn't afraid of me having a husband. I had several trips to Disneyland. I went back to school.
I don't make resolutions but my hopes for 2007 include: getting good grades in my classes; making the relationship with this girl into something real; I want a good job; and I want my dog to be as healthy and functional as possible for a very long time. He's recently a paraplegic, so I worry. I also want to get more projects done around the house here- kitchen cupboards, all walls, and my floors need work. Closets need cleaning. The yard needs pruning and a lot of work. I'd also like to get more reading done though during the school terms I don't have any time for pleasure reading. I have 10 books waiting for me, and am actually reading 3. I want to see my friends more. I have always been an "on my own" girl but I'm finding that's not a good plan. Now that I'm aware, I should fix it and that means keeping in touch with my friends better than I have done.

Probably not in 2007, but travel is a priority and that's one part of the globe I have yet to see

I may wish I were rich enough to afford the Aussie vacation I've always wanted...but our resolution involving continental US travel is the only realistic option at the moment. Sorry Lashie.
