I was awake, but just barely. By 12:10 I was asleep. We had a power outage earlier today and hadn't reset any of the clocks so if it weren't for fireworks in the neighborhood we'd not have known when the magical moment had arrived.

Happy New Year, all!

We actually got to go out to a real, grown-up-like dinner at a very nice restaurant. Chicken Wellington in walnut puff pastry is just sooo much better than a chicken nuggets from McDonalds.
