I can always tell when telemarketers attack- they pronounce Spokane 'Spo-cane', instead of 'Spo-can'. I also love the yearly garbling of Gonzaga by th sportscasters, although they are getting better.

And in quite a few places in the U.S. no one can spell 'Chula Vista'. Or say it. Is it that difficult? Isn't 'vista' a word?

Also, when the telemarketers call they can't pronounce our last name and I just 'Nope, not here'.

No one can pronounce our street name, either.
