Not really a fan of hockey and don't care much but if this is anything like the baseball strike of '94, it will be hard for the sport to recover from. I don't think baseball ever totally recovered from that.

If the NHL does go under; my sincere hope would be that they would rise out of the ashes with just the 6 original teams........

Imagine all of the talent in the league concentrated on just 6 teams....every game would be like an all star game
