I listened last night and it was great to have the mousepod back in action. For me, and hour + show is still not long enough, I enjoyed it.

My only complaint with the live at Disneyland part was the Dumbo ride, even with my earbuds firmly in place, I could barely understand anything Steve was saying, but I did get the sense of fun. Have you tried recording with an iriver T110? That's what I have used for on the spot podcasting and the quality was quite nice.

I loved the musical selections as they were unfamiliar to me. I'll catch the SunRa video when I am home, as my sig line shows, I can't access mousepod.com from the office (the Nazis).

I actually use an iRiver (a different model, though), for all of my street recording. In fact, I even put an external mic on it for the Dumbo recording, and iSm was holding it directly to his mouth (I'm pretty sure you can hear him say, "I'll hold it" a couple of seconds into the recording. Sorry kids, he was referring to the microphone). The big problem with that recording was the wind. I'm sure there's a setting on the iRiver to dampen that sound, but that would have required us to repeat the ride - and iSm's spontaneous narration was just too good to try and replicate.

How about one of those silly looking (but functional) microphone covers to deal with wind gusts then?

I'm going to have to listen again, more closely. Regardless, I totally enjoyed the podcast.

And yet there was like 10 minutes of dead air on Casey Jr. before the train got going. I don't think any of us knew you were recording all that nothingness (Certainly I didn't, or I likely would not have been able to keep my big mouth shut ... a trait all too apparent during the rest of the Casey ride. Ah, Snowflake ... if only I had the same problem as you. Alas, I could hear every word of my Dumbo narration. Someone should shoot me.)
