I actually saw Carol Doda perform in the early '80s. Big hair and manic as hell, she flew around the stage. She didn't throw off the boa and show the goods until she was halfway up on the killer piano. I believe she also kicked off her panties, which would have been illegal since the Condor sold alcohol.

After the Condor closed and became a sports bar, she owned/lent her name to a lingerie shop on Union Street. If you walked by, you would often see her standing around. I don't know if it's still there.

As far as visiting her breasts today, I believe they're being used to anchor the new Bay Bridge span.

I was curious (actually, I had to search for her as the name wasn't ringing any bells). It appears that Carol Doda's Champagne & Lace store is still around. Maybe the Lash's can visit and provide a report.
