After listening to your podcasts I'd say you're going for a more informative bent instead of a "political" one. You include things for the casual Disney fan. I don't think you need to muddy the waters with negativity. If I were you I may mention certain decisions I may not agree with, etc, but demonizing Eisner may be too far for the people you have listening. I really dig your across the board approach. I only had time to listen to half of the new one this morning and I am really enjoying it so far. The Friendly Indians version of GGG and the Baroque Hoedown as done by TMBG are awesome! I love that you play the more esoteric versions of songs. If you just played the obvious stuff, we'd get bored really quickly. I think your MCing is getting better with each show too. Can't wait to hear the rest. Your talk with ML, that should be awesome. I'll volunteer to talk Disney but I really don't know what topic I'd talk about. That would definitely be fun though. ![]() Did anyone else catch the reference to Moonliner's C D B post? I just adore when you mention us. ![]() Edited to add: NA is right - put a link in your sig!

Actually, I think CP is right- it wouldn't really fit with the type of show you have, although if things go as rumored you may want to have a celebratory show post-Eisner......
CP- Roy was walking a legal tightrope prior to the deadline for nominating a new slate. Once the deadline passed, he was free to do as he wished, which is actively campaign for Eisner's removal. At first, I was confused as well by the seeming inaction on his part, but then a few things were pointed out to me, and I get where things are going, or I hope they go. I think it's pretty clear that a Jobs/Lasseter team is what Roy would like, and I think they are playing a waiting game with Mr. Eisner. Think about it- Jobs still hasn't signed with anyone else, and it's getting very down to the wire for them, as pre-production on toys, etc for upcoming movies usually has to begin several years before the actual release of the movie. I wonder if that isn't one of the reasons they pushed Cars back, in fact. |
