The interesting bit about that article isn't so much that bots are attacking our computers, but rather that bots are using our computers to attack the network at large. The whole hacker mentality has gone through a shift over the past few years from focusing resources on directed attacks at of a single user's system to distributing resources to mount widescale attacks en masse.
