So we had to take the Catholic FOCCUS test tonight, so that the local priest has something to discuss with us when we plan the wedding. There were a lot of doozies ("true or false: I imagine I will feel uncomfortable nude in front of my spouse") but nothing tops "true or false: I feel that my spouse expresses affection adequately and appropriately."

Oh, yeah, baby. I'm in the mood for adequate and appropriate affeeeeeection.

Yep - it's still going on. I stopped by the other day and picked up 5 more bulbs. I know own 10 and have only spent $2.00 (plus tax).

Unfortunately, the one thing that kills is the most on power is the basking lamps for the Dragons. We have six enclosures in our house. All but one have 100 watt basking bulbs (plus the UV light). Right now, all of them are on 12 hours a day, but will soon be upped to 14 hours per day. That's 9.1 kilowatt hours every day. Ouch

Our bill is usually in the $40's (but that's with a 25% discount). We've been slowly changing out the blubs we can change (we have a lot if indirect lighting that used small wattage bulbs). We never have our TV on and have an efficient refrigerator but our computers are usually on and there are several lights on timers and two that are always on (front porch and sensor floods in the back). But, our bill is not too bad, considering.

Can you swap out the "always on" with compact flourescents?

Why are you so mad, DPR?

The front light is a CF but the floods in the back are not. I didn't know they made them. I will check for them next time.
