CHRISTMAS STORY director Bob Clark is dead

He made a lot of bad movies, that is true, but BC did pull one true little gem out of his hat o' crap. And in the end that was all he really had to do anyway.

I like A Christmas Story, though I find it a bit precious. Porky's, however, was a truly great film.

My friend just e-mailed this story ...

Our head writer just found out that a comic/musician I
know - Henry Phillips - has a father who loaned $5000 to Bob Clark 3
weeks ago (Henry's dad was an actor in Porky's). And Clark apparently
told Henry's dad that if he wanted a signature to pay him back, he would
give him one. Henry's dad said it was cool. "What if I get hit by a
bus?" Clark told him.

Well, it wasn't a bus, but it was close.
