Very cool Borneo! back in the day, I loved Chicago (think Chicago VIII-XII) what number are they up to now? Incredible brass.

I think they should start slam-dancing and crowd surfing at the opera. That would be interesting.

ETA: not that the opera isn't interesting; I just meant it would be interesting to do those things at the opera.

I SOOOOOO need a day off! I've been home for 20 minute stretches exactly 3 times since yesterday at 8:00 am. I may just turn off my phone tonight. That wold be novel - and refreshing.

I think I mis-represented myself. Both ballet and opera are worthy of clapping and cheering, however, I would guess it's far more standard to blow out your vocal chords and have sore clapping hands at a rock concert than at an opera. And yes, Chicago can be pretty mellow and relaxing music, to me, so I might have been among the more quiet at the venue, though I certainly would have clapped, and perhaps given a hoot or two for a particularly good performance.

Don't laugh, cry, clap or cheer if you don't feel like it. I've watched movies I've found absolutely hilarious without laughing - all while others were coming unglued in the theater. It's usually the completely unexpected that will get me to laugh, unless I'm in a super joyous mood (then you might find me laughing at just about everything). I think it applies to everything, and I think I forgot that in the instant I tried to picture people not getting into music - which I'm way too into for anyone else's good.

Oh, beyond the 2-3 "Love" songs from the 80s, Chicago pretty much rocks the place. There's no moshing but it get's moving. At the Earth, wind and Fire/ Chicago show a couple years ago, there wasn't a soul sitting - it was amazing. It seems whenever I see Chicago at this venue the crowd is always subdued. Other places-everyone's up!

MW - I'm planing on hitting the Veijas show Sunday. I won $90 last time they played. Ooooh...

SF - The newest album is Chicago XXX which came out last year. Produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts.

My roommate just bought a dvd player that converts the feed from regular dvd's into HD.

I love his music but he needs to take a shower and wash his hair. And this time he needs to use soap.
