From what I hear about the long and winding road, trailers would not be such a hot idea anyway.
Let's just stick to our vehicles ... some of us, including yours truly, have the type better suited for cargo than human transport. It would add inconvenience to departing but assist in general travel if those cars (cough*gas-guzzling-SUVs-or-trucks*cough) could be loaded with junk, while more passenger-oriented cars be loaded with folks. Technically, my car seats four ... but won't hold four people's camping loads no way. The backseat passengers would, in any event, be uncomfortable after Hour Two. Would it be better to transport 2 humans with 4 people's stuff, or 4 peoples with 2 persons' junk? While we're at it, let's get totally ahead of ourselves and start planning what we are going to wear each day! |
