Actually, I sort of did. I bought linen tab-top curtains at Ikea for the dining room. I'm MUCH more talented at shopping.

Well, I know you're very good at picking out fuzzy water and cutting cheese....other than that, I was only at your house for breakfast once. I think Chris did most of the cooking(?), but hey, y'all managed to feed both a vegetarian and someone who won't touch veggies with the same meal, so to that.

I just don't want to feel obligated to sew for anyone else. I've got plenty of projects of my own.

Now, if you want a knitted dishcloth, I've got just the pattern for you.

I've decided that's the best part, getting all the stuff that could lead to so much creativity even it never does. There's even an article in the magazine extolling the joys of crafting even if you don't ever finish anything. I know that I enjoy being in the middle of a project more than finishing (I have actually finished a few things). Sometimes I don't quite finish because the lure of the next thing I have planned is just too enticing. Especially when I've just discovered that what I'm about to finish would make a great bedspread but it's supposed to be a sweater.
