Poor Melinda. She had no demographic bump to push her over. Jordin got the dreamy stage mom votes. Blake got Ally, the tweeners, the Vote for the Worsters and, of course, the votes of all Opus-butted, knock-kneed penguins everywhere. Simon should have kept his trap shut. The demographics that vote (most of them kids, women and moms) all love to disagree with simon..

But what rattles me is that Melinda is actually really talented. But I am not sure if she has the aggressiveness to push for a big career.. Someone, hopefully Simon will mold her and produce her album... she will be great..

I see her singing with the likes of Alicia Keys, Aretha, Patti Labelle, etc...
