That's a complex question. The parking structure doesn't open until 7:30am or so, which puts us behind all the hotel guests in the area, who have early shuttles and such. Meeting earlier means parking elsewhere and walking long distances, or even taking public transit.
Either that, or while cars are waiting in line for the structure to open, some jump out and head for the gates to reserve a spot. That would totally suck for those in the cars though.

If the park opens at 8:00am, what time do the gates
really open? Could some of the "hotel guests" who just happen to be staying literately across the street save spots for people?
