Kink of Swank

I expect a good deal of campfire lounging and early morning lounging. And that's about all the lounging I personally plan to do.
Frankly, if I wanted lounging ... camping is the absolute last vacation option I would choose. It's work, work and more work ... almost constantly. In between, there's the adventuring that is the raison d'etre of my travel to the great outdoors. Finally, after the last bit of work is done for the day, I can have a cocktail and sit around the campfire ... where, after all that work and adventuring, I'm likely at my age to fall asleep within the hour. Then there's the last bit of work in throwing away all trash, bearproofing all foods, and battening down camp for the night. Ah, and a few hours shut-eye before the dawn. I salute all ye loungers ... but I'm not one of you. |
