Actually, I, Babette, have not seen the second (or third) movie so I did not know who the weird squid head was until he said his name. The problem is they put too many boats on the ride. Then each boat gets a preview while they are jammed up in the tunnel.

Yes it did. Unfortunately it only got a face-lift, the off-key lackadaisical audio remains.

Squid Face would have been cool to see as an AA. The floating head doesn't make much sense in context with the ride and the films.

I ♥ the projected Davy Jones! The only way they could possibly make it any better would be to project the real life Davy Jones up there. You know, of Monkees fame. Yes, that would be a much better improvement. And please ditch "Yo Ho, Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me in favor of Daydream Believer. Please?? Just thinking of an animatronic Auctioneer Tork (as in Peter) calling me a wench is making me wicked hot...

Yesirree, I be likin' the Davy Jones Squid Face projection. I likes me the animatronic Johnnys, too. And shiver me timbers, I likes ALL them changes made in the briny deep (or in this case, a few feet of water with some yellow "explosion" lamps. you know, whatever.)

Now, if Disney would just listen to me & add a "Will Turner Kissing Booth" & a "See What It's Like To Actually Make Love To The Real Captain Sparrow In The Captain's Quarter's" exhibit, then I'd be one happy guest!
