I like See's because you get a free sample when you walk in. Of course if it's good my son always wants mine. My friends all request boxes of bordeaux(sp) at Christmas time, but I didn't find it that amazing.

(Yes, I keep a Ghiradelli bar in my desk and break it off into squares when I feel like a little chocolate... so sue me.)

They would select what they liked, or their favorites as a gift, as why would they give something that they thought was horrible?
The exception to that was gift givers that KNEW what the reciepent liked.
ie: pink champagne truffles for the wife for valentines, not the Kahlua he likes.

I have chocolate. Dark chocolate. Takes a long time to melt in your mouth chocolate. MMMmmmmm.....
