				            | I'm super hungry. I've been trying to hold out until noon but I think it's close enough. |

| I Floop the Pig | Aaargh! I've owned my car for 3 years. I have now had 3 nails puncture the left rear tire. The first one I got patched, no problem. They took it off the wheel the second time found a crack running down the middle of the inside of the rubber. Time to replace the tires. This time, even though the tires are less than a year old, the nail decided to puncture it right up next to the sidewall. Not a good idea to try a patch-job with a hole there, so I get to buy a new tire. I'm running on a donut spare until tomorrow after work when I can get in and drop $100. Joy. Why the eff is my left rear tire a nail-magnet?!

				            | I always buy the $20 road hazard insurance. Then the tire place replaces it and I don't worry about anything. I'm sorry your tire is a nail-magnet.

| Senior Member | Between where I work and my house is construction zone centeral. I've gotten tons of flats. I get my tires at firestone and they either repair or replace them under warranty. It's been totally worth it.

				            | ditto for Discount Tire. however I might suggest getting a set of BFG's. awesome puncture resistance.

| I Floop the Pig | Hmm, I should dig out the paperwork on the new set, see if I had road hazard coverage on 'em.

				            | I love Americas Tire. I had a nail in my tire, the guy took a look at it and said let's see if it's leaking. If it's not bring it back when you have more time (I was in a hurry). No leaks and they checked the pressure of all the tires. I brought it back and the guy pulled it out. It was a little bigger than a thumb tack. No leaks. No new tire. I really like their honesty. |
