I'm with you MW! My opinion of his behavior turned into quite the thread at the time and people are still thinking he's just this great dad cuz he takes his two daughters to Disney so often, to the point that they've missed so much school as to get warning letters about attendance....and he's posted/bragged about how he handles that as well....he's a piece of work for sure.

And MG you adore that boy and would never EVER put him in any position of 'neglect' ...he's not 3 .... and he has a good voice and skills to say Hey I'm lost and here's my moms cell number...so don't feel the least bit of guilt for letting him stretch those fledgling wings of his.

Ugh, well, again, those people who think he is the best probably aren't so great, either. Maybe?

And, I agree, MG, if you have had your son learn that simple info, that is empowering for him. The ages for kids to be alone differs because some situations, some kids, are ready earlier than others. You are his mom, you would know.
