I preordered mine online thru Borders since my friend sent me a gift card for my birthday way back that i never used. So i figured now is the best time to use the gift card. But won't get it til next week sometime. But it's fine since i work this whole weekend anyways. But i never thought about preordering over the telephone plus i work so i wouldn't be able to pick it up anyways.

No, I do know that the book comes out in two days. I just didn't think I could make it down to B&N today to pre-order it, and I have a day full of plans tomorrow, preventing me from going there tomorrow to pre-order it.

But, I do appreciate your concern. I am otherwise quite out of it.

The girls want to dress up tomorrow night and since we're short on time Swanie came up with the idea that they can dress as wizards dressing as muggles - ie mismatched clothing looking like they're trying to fit in.

A suggestion:

Should any of us feel like discussing the book as we go through it, perhaps we should have chapter-specific threads so we can safely discuss what we HAVE read without spoiling the upcoming chapters for ourselves? I forget how long her chapters are... maybe a thread every even-numbered chapter? (Eg: if you've read through Chapter 2, you can safely read the Chapter 2 discusssion, but want to avoid the Chapter 4, etc)?

Or is that going to be WAY too many threads?

Well... I don't know about you, but I'm not touching any form of communication until after I've finished. I just don't want to get spoiled before I'm done (not that the chapter-specific threads are a bad idea, just that I don't trust the media not to spoil things. Seeing as the NEW YORK TIMES just released a review before the embargo ends. SHEESH!)
