Dresses over Jeans? - Page 3

Dresses *or* jeans, but never combine the two.

I love the GFY girls... yes, they trash things that regular people think look fine, but their commentary is to die for.

Thirty-something is a strange place to be, fashion-wise. The choices I've found and rejected are teeny-bopper (midriff tops, tight jeans or falling off jeans, flirty little things) or old lady (wild patterns, things cut wide, and lots of two-piece tops that just don't work for me). Even my mom faces the same conundrum; she doesn't like the things that are otherwise slated for her cohort. But to go younger is to go *really* young and that frightens people. It frightens me to think about dressing that way.

I'm still working on my style. Even when I find something I like, getting it to fit is a whole other nightmare.

BTD, good luck in finding some wardrobe.

Haha! I didn't mean it *that* way...

I meant it like it's a funny thing... because they are Bermuda shorts. Even better, I'd imagine, if they could be worn in Bermuda. With a drink in my left hand. Maybe an umbrella would be appropriate. And some 60 SPF. And some cabana boys. Bearing grapes. And palm leaf fans.

OK, this is going to far, even for me...

I am SOOOOO glad that bermuda shorts have made a comeback. I love em'! Much better than the past few years when everything was super short, somehow just not appropriate for a mother of 3, 2 being teens.

BTD, I think the little knit dresses over jeans is a cute look. I have been seeing it alot in Sacramento. Not for me, I think I'm to "old" for that look, but I can see you passing it off

Count me in on the long shorts bandwagon....except that my curves force me to buy shorts with a drawstring waist. Otherwise you can flip quarters into my butt.

I like the long top or even short dress over jeans look. I'm old and I still wear it. Maybe that's why people make fun of me.
