				            | I can't think of too many packaged products or specific menu items I miss. Mostly restaurants that have closed down that I used to go to regularly.

				            | Yes, they make Zima though I'm not sure who is drinking it. Even the drunkards in my dorm wouldn't touch the stuff. |

				            | Heehee..Zima just reminds me so much of the early 90's. Yuppies with patterned shoulder-padded blazers lookin' all bougie. That's so totally Zima to me. I thought the original clear Pepsi was yummy! Didn't they then change the formula or taste shortly before it disappeared?? Also, I keep thinking of that SNL commercial for Pepsi clear gravy. Does anybody remember that?? YUCK!! I had a flashback to Lawry's beef jerkey. It came in a can, each piece of jerkey wrapped in clear plastic. It was just...so dog treat. And as kids, we loved it. |

				            | Did anyone actually drink Zima? I remember people showing up at parties with wine coolers. Mind you, I guzzled a lot of bad wine in college, but with the only wine cooler I ever tried I had to put out a cigarette in it to make it palatable.

				            | If PBR somehow became trendy I have no doubt that Zima could have been. But it was excessively mocked in my college dorm, and these people were practically drinking cough syrup on the weekends if money got tight. |

				            | I, too, tried Zima once in my early twenties. I rarely, if ever, drank in my twenties, so I thought Zima was way tasty and novel. Haha! Strangler Lewis!! Bad wine!! Heehee! I tried Thunderbird once (I HAD to after hearing how low dollar it was) and thought I would luge my lungs out. I couldn't even drink more then two sips of what was in my styrofoam cup (yes, foam cup. I'm way swank & bougie like that ). Did you ever try MD 20/20 (Mad Dog)? Ooh! How's about Cisco? I hear people go wonky off that stuff. I never had the pleasure of trying either. Or Night Train. I did, however, once heave after a night of enjoying martinis topped off by Franzia. Yep, BOX WINE. Now I'm totally derailing & laughing over cheap hobo wines. |

				            | I've had Thunderbird. Never had the Mad Dog. Never heard of Cisco. However, for cheap drinks (drunks?), nothing in my experience compared to Bertola's, which is/was on the Oakland Berkeley border. In the early '80s, it was .50/.75/1.00 for a single/double/triple out of the well. Cheap even for the standards of the day. Lively place, too, as I dimly recall. For in room dining, my classy punch of choice was a sangria made with cheap wine that I would liberally season with Canadian Club.
