		 A country code? The weird caller sounds like he may be someone elderly and confused (though those two things are not always associated).

		 I get all kinds of blocked or wierd number solicitor calls. It's their way of getting around the system.

			Those phone calls~what did your grandma do recently? Buy something? Open an account? This really kills me, they call my mom all of the time, too. I understand they can use scare tactics, etc. to get what they want. Stay on top of it!! Thieves! Discover called a friend and offered them that insurance on the account. It was a trial basis, whatever. They said they'd send him the paperwork for him to look over and he said 'Sure, send it, I'll take a look at it'. Well, that was all it took, he was signed on. They never noticed it was on their bill and it was a lot. When they called to cancel, they replayed his voice saying 'Sure' and wouldn't reverse the charges. {he didn't agree to the program, just to look at the paperwork}. Thieves! We live amongst thieves!! {sorry for the rant...}

		 Well, my life officially sucks.

			Barnum and I were playing ball, and I threw it down the hallway. He tears off after it, and the next thing I hear is him yelping and when I look up he's dragging his back end and sh*tting all over the floor in pain. Took him to the after-hours vet in Mission Viejo. Basically, it's most likely a herniated disc(s?) I had two options: take him straight to a neurologist to do some kind of scan that requires general anesthetic and dye injected into his spine - followed most likely by surgery if they find something, that running $3500-5000 - OR - they could keep him overnight at the emergency vet, give him pain meds, do a blood panel (to make sure his liver etc. are functioning okay) and then do aggressive steroid treatment to get the swelling down, which will only relieve the pain and not solve the problem. Minimum cost $1258. Which I don't have. Had to call my mom at like midnight Texas time, and ask her to help me, because they want the minimum cost up front as a deposit.
