My 30th is next month. I'm not going. The show makes for a good excuse, but the fact is while I think it would be fun to see some people, and know that I feel better about myself right now than I did then, I think that would wear off in about ten minutes, and I'd revert into the insecure dweeb I was back in '77.

You know it's funny. While gathering things together for mine last night someone said to me, Its funny how people are so different.
I pondered this, and asked why that was stated.
I was informed that while they couldnt care less to go to their reunion, or see those people or think about HS, I seemed to revel in it, and be attached to it.

I still cant decide if I am anything other than insulted, but I dont know the intention.

But I've always been the mother hen. Even when I was the dweebie HS academic music chick.
I'm cool with that.
Hell, the four years after high school were FAR worse than HS.
