Someone at work brought Guitar Hero 80s Edition. Flock of Seagulls baby... Today was a rockin' library day.

Okay, I'm answering Babette's question here, as it contains spoilers and she doesn't want to know them, but she did ask: Why does everything happen during the school year? I answered as best I could, but left out all the stuff that happens outside of the school and school year in the next few books. I can think of a few- in HBP, there's the Snape/Draco/Black sister's adventure (Spinners End), Dumbledore showing up early and taking Harry on an extended walkabout, and Harry and Co flat out not returning in the last book. Can anyone think of other examples?
