He didn't plan it; his sister did....and yes, it's a wedding.....hers....and she kinda wanted her little brother to perform the ceremony after hearing about the ceremonies he's performed. So yeah, we're not available that weekend.

I've never stayed there, but I know it is quiet, it doesn't have the hub bub of Big Bear. The disadvantage is there is only one restaurant in town, so you'd probably have to bring your own food.

I've been researching some house rentals in the desert and have made some inquiries. I'm at work right now, so I'll have to post that info tonight or tomorrow, but I also found one possible place in Ojai.

The 13th? Columbus Day weekend is the weekend prior to that, we'll be in Chicago on the 13th.

If you want to go for the weekend of Oct. 20/21, Sunday is Scotchtoberfest and Monday the 22nd is the Pagan Sabbat, Mabon.

Also, Friday is Evaluate Your Life Day and Mammography Day
