Well, in that case ... I don't think zapppop and I are going to make a day of it ... in an effort to snag one of the firepits that are, on normal beach days, gone long before noon.

Heheh, we were going to get there by 9am, but now I'm torn about what time to arrive.

I'm picturing ISM and Zap all alone on the beach, bundled up under a "rain" shelter freezing their asses off.

Well, we have sun shelters than can double as rain shelters, and we enjoy cuddling together for warmth.

I was really looking forward to a pleasant, sunny day at the beach ... but will find the silver lining in one of those thunderclouds.

The afternoon should see clearing skies that will be beautiful, and will make for a lovely twilight time and gorgeous sunset.

Plus ... my casting away of sins in the ocean tradition is more dramatic when the seas are tempest tossed.
