End Of Summer Bonfire in Newport Sept. 22nd

I'm doing something special tonight for the twilight ritual - making my own bread.

I've decided to make up a batch of salt dough and then form it into shapes of things I need to cast away. Then, I'll bake them. They'll be really hard and weighty, so should make a pretty far toss and a nice little splash before breaking apart in the water.

Of course, I plan on sharing, so I'm also making up some generic bread pieces for others to toss.

Oh, and I'm also bringing a miniature wicker man for the bonfire. I'll bring enough ribbons for everyone to make a wish and tie on before tossing him in.
