I'll never forget when I got into swing music and related stuff, including the modern bands that emulated them. I played some Squirrel Nut Zippers for my dad and he said "That's my parents' music," with a large helping of Boomer disdain. Heh.

My mother taught me how to ride a motorcycle and took me to see Blazing Saddles and Papillon.
