Top 50 Dystopian Movies of All Time

I counted 36 - I love the genre, but yeah, wouldn't have put Wings of Desire on the list, despite how great a film it is (End of Violence might be another Wim Wenders Choice).

So whens the Dystopia screenings?

If a given movie is not on the list it is because of one of the following reasons.

1. It’s average score wasn’t high enough to make the list. For example, many of you mentioned Zardoz and The Handmaid’s Tale. Their average scores were 5.2 and 5.25 placing them well outside the top 50.

There were more reasons given, but I wanted to note that one since a couple of you mentioned The Handmaid's Tale.
