God, I'd love to go. I don't think I could leave the Girl that long, though. Grandma would have her turned into a Mormon by the time I returned.

It can be done in much less time than that. Hell, in 15 days, they'd have her married with 6 kids and a minivan.

Last time they tried converting me (hey, I was living alone in Iowa, it was cold, I was lonely, and they lifted my heavy couch up the stairs, and took out my trash, so I repaid them by letting them come over to talk now and then), they tried to convince me that I was ready for baptism by the third discussion. Needless to say, I declined, and after that, they stalked me for a few weeks, even waiting outside my door, refusing to leave.

I've been told that as a non-Mormon, I am going to hell. It can't be any worse than living with one.*

*Actually, Trudy is fairly cool, except when she gets sanctimonious on me- then we have probs.
