I never think beyond my pets what I would save. Of course, with 8 animals at my house at the moment, that would take a while.

Up at this end of the world, the (Malibu) Canyon Fire was really scary this morning. Winds were whipping the flames into a frenzy ... and I watched in sadness as a famous castle at the crest of the mountain, where Kelly and I had planned to get married, was engulfed in a firestorm ... and burned to the ground.

Wow, that Irvine fire is really close to where I used to work, right next to the El Toro Marine base off of Irvine Blvd.
