I know the feeling. I'm so dying to drive some donations to the shelters in San Diego (they need it the most), yet I don't want to crowd the roads or get in the way.

If it is material donations, call them up and see if they will accept them via mail.

The USPS has flat rate boxes that holds a ton of stuff and are I think about $7.50.
