In my previous life we didn't have a dress code, and we could leave at 2 or 3 or depending on our department (mine) "work from home". | |

| Nevermind | That's complete bull**** that someone would do that, let alone in front of his wife and kids. Did you have security escort his ass out? Sorry you're having such a sucky holiday- I hope it improves!!!! |

| Beelzeboobs, Esq. | My new boss actually told me to work from home tomorrow. She came to tell me that we could all leave at noon tomorrow, and I said oh, well, I'll be there all day, because if I go home, with traffic, there will be enough time for me to eat a sandwich and then head out again for class, so no, I'd just work through 'til 5. So she told me just to work from home. Guess I will! I love to work in my jammies. On the couch.

				            | It's dead here today. Half the office is out, it seems. And, my brain doesn't want to wake up.

				            | I was just flipping through a recent copy of Entertainment Weekly (yes, it's that dead here today), and I saw a picture of this cute guy with a goatee. So I read the caption to see who it is. It's Adam Sandler... I need to go wash my brain out now....

				            | I'm digitizing footage for my demo. I have about 12 more hours of tape to go, but I want a variety of shots to choose from. And, I bravely stopped by Costco last night to pick up just one item for my mom. I will never do that again before Thanksgiving. I was waiting patiently in line (for quite some time), and this woman charges right up to the side of me, pushes her cart up to the stand, as I'm just about to put my item on the belt, and starts putting her (last minute Thanksgiving) stuff behind my divider. The cashier saw it, and thankfully took my item from me, shoved the woman's stuff back, and placed it in front of hers, prompting her to scowl at me. I have a love/hate relationship with the holidays - it brings out the best in some people, but also brings out the worst in some. It seems that people get in this "me, me, me" attitude more-so than any other time or year. |

				            | All of my clients went home. Does that mean I can go? Ever notice that if you put the word "monkey" in front of another word it sometimes becomes hysterical? Like, wedding.... Monkey Wedding. See? Funny! Monkey Funeral Monkey Gymnastics Monkey Shoes Monkey Cathedral ... |
