Of course, in memory of the great Jimmy V, a small part of me is always happy when NC State wins a tourney game.

Well whadda you know? NC State pulled their heads out. I take back my Bah. A promise is a promise. They are still hated.

I grew up believing that Jimmy Valvano was the devil....and when he died I was at a bar or a party, can't remember, and his picture came up on the TV and I started spouting off about how I hated that f-er. Really spewing, cussing, might have flipped off the TV, basically being a hate-filled jerk off. Someone turned up the volume and everyone looked at a very embarrassed me with a newfound feeling of revulsion for the girl who hated the dead guy.

Now I can wish NC State to lose in the next round.

Sorry, Jimmy.

Anyone else notice that Coach K is in every single commercial except the Burger King ads?
