Interesting evening.

Syracuse busted up a few of my brackets, but Kansas losing put me right back in the thick of things in a couple of 'em.

It looks like, on the surface anyway, Duke has a wide open path to the Elite Eight. Sigh, I wish I would have showed them more love.

Kansas screwed me. As did Stanford (that was one team I was NOT 100% for, I just picked them to be contrary to my husband and because I said last year I'd never pick them, won't do that again). I had Kansas going to the Eight, so that really hurt.....poor Simian. I really like him as a player. Damn, but he was fun to watch.
Cool for Bucknell though, whoever they are.

I do love the upsets.

Today......I'm a little whateverish. Might not be glued to the tube after all. Especially for Wash/Pac., since I had Pitt beating WA in this round. Oops.

Great minds think alike. OK, since Pitt lost to Pacific, maybe not great minds. I had the same thing.

In the pool I run there were some with Syracuse in the final four and another with Kansas there. Ouch.

Did you watch the Vermont or Bucknell upsets? Lordy, they were fun.

We actually were high-fiving one another every time they showed that final 3-pointer in the Vermont game last night. Amazingly good stuff. Cool game.

The Kansas/Bucknell game, for some reason was a letdown. By the last five minutes, we decided Bucknell deserved to win it, so when they did, we just sat there beaming, even though it screwed me and screwed me bad. I couldn't get worked up over it. It was too cool. Then I looked down at my poor brackets and sighed. Deeply.
