ummmm, me thinks there is WAY too much information about who's lei'ing who being passed around the board today.

Aloha cats and kittens of the lounge! I just wanted to let you all know that I had a great time with you all in the Enchanted Tiki Room.

I would have like to have stayed longer, but I am borrowing my mom's car while my truck is in the shop for repairs. She called me to ask me to get her some pork chops from the store, so I was obliged to go and get them since it is her car that I am using. Hopefully next time I'll have more of my own time to spend with all you Lounge Cats!

I made the two hour drive home.. thanks for a lovely time everyone! For those of you I never met, next time!
If you were sitting on the other side of the group from myself and my offspring in the Tiki room, chances are, I never figured out who you were.

(And I'm actually very embarressed by this)

GusGus, it took me a full ten seconds staring right at you to realize why you looked familiar and that I did in fact know you! Now, if only one of these days I can meet your sweetheart!

And who was the tall young man with the fabulous hair???

While doing Tiki was great fun, the highlight of the day was indeed the PotC!!! As we were winding through the end of the ride (right next to the people waiting to ride), GusGus heard someone say, "I want to ride with them."

I (GusGus's sweatheart) was one of the two gentlemen wearing am orange/mustard Shag tiki shirt (pretty darned funny that Chris and I had matching Shag shirts while NA & GusGus had matching purple Shag shirts - it wasn't planned folks!). About 6pm last night:" Mommy, I decided I dont want a mohawk, I want my hair like the tall boy with the Jack shirt at the Tiki meet."

So.. I was stuck. I loved it, but it wasnt quite... first grade.

But I also cant stop him later on.. I mean come on, mine was fushcia and I was a Madonna wanna be.

Hey, when a woman needs her pork chops, she needs her pork chops. She didn't happen to have one of these at her wedding, did she?

No, she didn't have one of those. At least, I don't think she did. I wasn't there, of course.

But one thing you should know about Hawaiian moms... They can make a full course meal out of a can of Spam, so a package of porkchops is even more extravigant!
