The way I drive, I stay to the left or middle to get around the bulk of the backup (most of it is actually caused by cars getting on the SOUTHBOUND 55), dashing over to the right at the last minute to take the ramp. Traffic will open up once you hit the ramp. Yes, I drive like an assh*le

Has been for about a year (or more).

I mean I can get to the 57 north from the 22 west and exit off Katella on the 57 north.

I'll give it a try if traffic is horrible on the 5. Any time I am on the 55 north on a Friday during rush hour it doesn't. move.

Yes, the Katella exit is north of the 22 on the 57.
