I think the time is right to plan the Great Northwest Swanking!!

Tour up PCH through the Redwoods to Ashland, for a little Shakespeare...

Spend an afternoon at Crater Lake....

Join us in Portland!!!

Kornblatts Deli & Nob Hill
Forest Park
Kells

and of course...

WHO STOLE MY DEAD HUSBAND?

Then head north to Mt. St. Helens

The Olympic Penninsula

Take the Ferry over to Seattle:

Seattle Center and The Space Needle
EMP
The Waterfront
Underground Tour
(Okay, I'm sure the Seattlites can add a few more...)

Head back hitting Mt. Rainier

Check out Maryhill Museum, with it's Stonehenge replica

then down the Columbia River Gorge:

Bonneville Dam

Multnomah Falls

Back to Portland, then run home.

You can all take off for a month of swanking, right????

I sooo would love to do this. I went to the Gorge but didn't get to stop at the Multnomah Falls.

All up the coast is beautiful. Crater Lake, well, heck, when is there not snow there? I thought I read that the winter snow melted sometime in August? Or maybe late July? Then it starts up again the first week of October? Does anyone know the facts? So curious.
