In our home, everyone is used to tucking their feet under the blankies a'la 'monster under the bed' mode. (Thanks to Samwise, the nocturnal slasher).

Swankers pining for pyro really ought to get their butts here... beautiful night, no crowds, etc. You're missing out on one last shot at holiday goodness. Oh and reindeer go bye bye tomorrow evening, it looks like. Just FYI.

Did I mention no crowds? Heaven! Mickey even came out into the street t watch the snow.

Sasha used to play that game, and now she's afraid of everything and won't come near us. Go figure.

Boris is a mutant. We still don't know how to treat his thyroid. Looking just at his lab work, he's a very very very sick kitty, on death's door, no point in treating anything. But he's been like that for years and he's still acting totally normal. He is a mutant who apparently doesn't actually need functional kidneys. There are apparently no experts willing to speculate on what the radioactive iodine might do to his kidneys. According to his lab work, he's almost dead anyhow and the treatment would send him over the edge. According to his actual behavior, he's completely fine and a great candidate for treatment.

Damn mutant cat.

My dad is in the hospital, cardiac care unit- he's got pneumonia, and fluid is building up around his heart. Happy freakin' New Year.
