Got most of the functionality working.....the people in the meeting mostly just talked about what they wanted changed rather than seeing what it did. Sigh.

I hate meetings.

Sadly, we are moving toward the agile development methodology. I have long thought this was created by people who didn't want to be thorough in design.

Software release day.

On Dec 21, I was 90% done with my major project. I had a meeting that afternoon. I am now only 20% done with my project. I have had to recode almost the entire thing. And I came across another flaw which caused another (admittedly minor - maybe 6 hours of work????) redesign only about an hour ago.

Don't think I'm meeting my deadline today.

I keep running into people who don't understand a process and therefore decide it must be simple. Then start basing critical decisions on that assumption.

The running joke here at the office is that everything takes only 5 minutes (at least according to our boss).
