iPod - repair or just trash & buy new?

That might just be large enough to hold my music collection - maybe the next generation will be big enough for me to start adding video

Sheesh, I did not realize the prices of iPods had gone down. Hell, I will get a new one and sell the old one to someone for parts.

BtD, just wanted to revive this to say thanks for the suggestion of offloading the dead iPod on ebay. Clearly marked as broken, it still sold for a fair sum.
