I thinbk we first need an exchange of money during the "Buy a Bride" scene.

Oh I think those gold coins would be very appropriate at that point of the trip!

If the 'normal' dad/mom give this bride isn't working but the kids are going to be on the boat, I'd say that "J" should be required to give each of the kids a coin for their mom
