Steve's late lunch pre-show and post show cocktails sounds like the best idea. We wouldn't be able to attend the lunch, but that would allow for longer group social gathering while still letting more people make both sets of films as well as leave opportunity for a post gathering for the night owls. Just make sure you eat a big lunch or bring an intermission snack, eh?
I know I'm planning on seeing them both no matter what.
