Are the internets broken?

We have been experiencing delays with emails all day (3-6 hours). We called our email service (Go Daddy) to inquire. They said that several ISPs are experiencing delays because of down trunk lines.

Anybody heard anything about this? Or is this just a lame excuse by Go Daddy?

I'm probably revealing my ignorance, but might this be related to the Blackberry outages? Speaking of, have they figured out what the cause is in that area?

Maybe the Anonymous movement to do in Scientology is involved.

(They did say they were going after them via technology.....)

WB - BB outages were with the BB servers.

Maybe the email outages are due to the weather on the east coast?

I have no idea, but teh intrawebs seem really extra double-slow tonight for me... Well, mostly my gmails, but I've noticed a major slowdown.
